What it is

Chad AI (branded chad on the site, with the Russian-language site at chadgpt.ru) is a third-party multi-model aggregation service for Russian-speaking users, operated by the Russian sole proprietor ИП Кольцов А. А. It connects models from OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, xAI, DeepSeek, Midjourney, Kling, Suno and other vendors to its own web app and mobile apps, bills everything through a single ruble subscription, and markets itself on needing no VPN and on signing up with a Russian phone number. One clarification: clause 3.6 of the official public offer states that it is not a rights holder of the models, and the «Российская нейросеть» wording in its on-site SEO copy is marketing rhetoric — it aggregates and resells third-party models, it does not build its own foundation models.

Models and billing

The billing unit is the spark: 1 spark roughly equals 1 word processed or generated by the model, with prompts, answers and context all counted, and image recognition billed separately at 800 sparks per 1 image. Multipliers vary enormously — lightweight models cost 0.3 spark per word, Claude Opus 5 and GPT-5.5 cost 7–10, Claude Fable 5.1 costs 15, and a single video generation can reach 180,000 sparks, so the same balance yields roughly 50 times more or less output depending on the model. Monthly subscriptions come in three tiers at 290 / 590 / 1,690 ₽, with 15% off on annual billing; the team edition is a pay-as-you-go top-up at 1.6 ₽ per 1000 sparks that never expires.

Who it is for

Individuals, students and small teams in Russia or the Russian-speaking region who have no foreign card and no VPN; creators who want one subscription covering text, images, video and music at the same time; local companies that need ruble settlement, invoices, bank transfers and per-member quota control; and developers who want to bundle multiple models into n8n or their own systems. Conversely, it is not for people who need the vendor's own interface and newest features, who need to audit model versions, or who care about refunds.

What to watch out for

Model names are the official catalogue naming (such as GPT-6 Astra or Claude Fable 5.1); the mapping to vendors' public version schemes is not disclosed and cannot be verified, so it should not be treated as an endorsement of any vendor version. The platform's public data contradicts itself: the total model count is given as 72, 73 and 77 in different places, and the on-site rating badge does not match the real store ratings. Paid fees are never refunded, cancelling auto-renewal requires a written request, and failed charges are retried repeatedly for 30 days. The interface is Russian only, with no language switcher. The free allowance is described inconsistently across three places in the official documents, so do not expect any fixed number of uses. On top of that, the text of user questions grants the platform and other users a licence to use it.
