Rosebud AI
An AI creation platform that turns a one-sentence idea into a playable web game

Tool details
Describe a game idea in one sentence, and a few minutes later you can open a link in your browser and start playing — that is the most compelling thing about Rosebud AI. It folds AI coding, art generation, sound effects and hosting into a single page, and it is built for people who have never made a game but want to be playing their own work tonight.
Core capabilities
- One sentence, one game: Describe the gameplay and it generates a runnable build. There is no engine to install, and the whole loop of chat, playtest and code edit happens in the browser.
- Real code you can read and change: The output is native JavaScript (Three.js / Phaser / Canvas), not a black box, and paid tiers can export the entire project.
- Assets covered end to end: 2D art, sprite animation, 3D models, 360° skyboxes, sound effects and background music all draw on the same allowance.
- NPCs that think: Characters carry personality, memory and open-ended dialogue instead of looping the same lines.
- Remix community: More than 700 public projects fork in one click, spread across more than twenty categories covering casual, RPG, horror and idle games.
- Free hosting and publishing: One click produces a shareable link, and higher tiers can export a Windows build for release on Steam.
Where it fits A playable demo for a game jam in one evening, classroom and intro-to-programming teaching, concept validation, an interactive page for a blog post or a tweet. No-code hobbyists, teachers and content creators get the most out of it; senior developers who want fine control over physics and rendering will find it thin.
What makes it different It does not build its own foundation models; it is a pure orchestration layer that calls Claude, GPT, Gemini and Grok underneath, uses Nano Banana 2 and Flux 2 Flash for images, and ships "Rosie" as its own multi-step agent — the strength is in the design workflow, not in the models. Assets, code, hosting and remix are wired into one package with no revenue share on commercial use, which makes it far more complete than tools that only sell assets.
Editor's verdict It is one of the fastest tools today for getting from an idea to a playable link, but it is not a tool for getting from an idea to a shipped product. Free credits refresh weekly and are region-limited, so a single round of iteration drains them; commercial rights start at $30, code export and Windows builds cost $50, and removing the branding also starts at $30. It suits game jams, teaching and prototype validation — if you are serious about a commercial project, keep room to switch engines.
Pricing
Freemium$0 (8,000 credits per week, refreshed weekly, region-limited)8,000 credits/week, refreshed weekly and only in eligible regions; hosted pages keep the Rosebud branding, commercial rights are excluded, and only the rosie and gemini-flash models are available
100,000 credits/month; private projects (Remix can be turned off), higher-quality assets and AI chat, desktop Code tab; unused credits roll over once
300,000 credits/month; full commercial rights (sell games and assets, publish on any platform, zero revenue share for Rosebud) plus branding removal
1,000,000 credits/month; download project code, export a Windows build for release on Steam, hosting built for scale
2,000,000 credits/month; enterprise-grade autoscaling hosting, top-tier asset generation, advanced AI chat and the highest project cap
Additional notes
Monthly billing only; the site offers no annual or annual-discount plans. Paid tiers run on two tracks — a monthly allowance plus a small daily refresh: the daily credits reset at midnight Pacific Time and are consumed first, while unused monthly credits roll over only once before expiring. At the time of capture, all 4 paid tiers carried a limited-time back-to-school promotion (an extra 10,000 credits refreshed daily), which is a promotion rather than long-term pricing.
