Video Text Remover AI
An AI tool that erases video text, subtitles and watermarks from a box you draw

Tool details
Video Text Remover AI is an online video eraser: draw a box over the text, subtitles or watermark you want gone, submit the clip, and a server-side model repaints the boxed area with background. The interface runs in the browser with nothing to install, and it targets people who re-edit footage they own.
Core capabilities
- Ten removal entry points: text, subtitles, captions, timestamps, lower thirds, watermarks, logos, objects, backgrounds and audio tracks each get their own page, all sharing one editor
- Box-based erasing: up to 3 fixed boxes, each with its own active time range; the mask is uploaded together with the whole video and the model fills in the background
- Third-party model: the site describes calling a third-party video erasing model (WaveSpeed Video Eraser, inferred from the site's own wording and its code constants); no in-house model is offered
- Credit-based billing: 1 credit per second for text, subtitle, watermark, logo or object removal, 6 credits per second for transparent backgrounds, a 3-second minimum per run, and failed runs are refunded
- Local processing boundary: choosing the clip, playback, marking and time-range export all happen in the browser, and audio removal is likewise local and free
Where it fits For independent media and short-video editors cleaning old subtitles, channel bugs and screen-recording watermarks off their own footage, and for course or review creators working with clips of 60 seconds or less. Long videos, scrolling subtitles and commercial deliveries that must be entirely trace-free are out of scope; the footage has to be yours or licensed.
Distinctive strengths Each of the ten removal scenarios has its own landing page, and the formats and limits are spelled out more clearly than most peers: MP4/MOV/WebM, ≤60 seconds, ≤50 MiB, with MKV explicitly not accepted and no link fetching. It does not oversell an in-house model, and it openly admits that a box does not follow moving words.
Editorial take The AI is real, but it is not on this site — the client only draws the mask and the repair is handed upstream, and the official copy itself says results can keep remnants, flicker or changed textures. There is no recurring free allowance, only 1 trial run of ≤10 seconds per account; credit packs never expire, and annual billing is a 5-tenths (half-price) discount, though credits are released in 12 installments. The terms are thin: no entity name, no governing law, a domain registered only days ago, and no independent third-party test of the output, so try the $4.90 Starter pack first.
