Zaodian

Zaodian is an AI creation platform launched by Alibaba's Quark team in September 2025, integrating AI image generation and AI video generation as its two core features. As the first platform in China to support audio-video-synced generation, Zaodian is powered by the Tongyi Wanxiang Wan2.5 model and can generate vocals, sound effects, and background music matched to the visuals, with 10-second 1080P/24fps HD video output.

For image generation, Zaodian fully supports the core capabilities of Midjourney V7, one of the world's leading models, including multi-image reference, style codes, and fine parameter tuning. Combined with Quark's in-house technology, Zaodian shows clear strengths in Asian portrait generation, Chinese text rendering, and traditional Chinese visual elements, accurately conveying the mood of ink painting, Dunhuang murals, and other Chinese aesthetics.
