Tool details

AIReiter is a third-party model aggregation gateway operated by NEWRATE LIMITED: one API key calls image, video, audio and text models at the same time, and it trains no models of its own. It addresses two problems: integrations have to be rewritten when you switch models, and usage-based bills are hard to control.

Core capabilities

  • Unified gateway: image, video and audio go through asynchronous submit/query, text goes through OpenAI- and Anthropic-compatible endpoints, so migrating only means changing the baseURL
  • Model catalog: 133 model_keys, 30 provider_keys and 24 brands, including flagships such as Midjourney, Suno, Kling and Veo
  • Channel tiers: the base/plus/advanced/max tiers affect stability only; 502/503 responses explicitly read 'all upstreams unavailable' and 'no available provider configuration', so multi-upstream switching is real
  • Async engineering: idempotent out_task_id, webhook callbacks, automatic credit refunds on failure, and estimated and actual credits echoed separately
  • Transparent pricing: official price and site price are listed side by side for every model, with cache and 272K tiers labelled

Use cases Independent developers and small teams can cover image, video and text with one key and skip opening accounts at several vendors; Claude Code, Codex and Cline users just change the base URL and buy quota by the month; content and e-commerce teams can produce images and video straight from templates. Enterprises that need an SLA or compliance audits are not a good fit.

Unique advantages Compared with OpenRouter (almost no discounts) and fal.ai (its own compute), it wins on a messier catalog and deeper discounts, with Claude models as low as 20%–50% of official price; 302 documentation pages can be fed to agents. Watch out: the advertised Sora 2 has no model entry, and the terms say no AI music while Suno is on sale.

Editorial verdict It makes 'trying every closed flagship with one key' easy enough: 1 credit = $0.01, so a few dollars buys a first test, and then the Coding Plan starts at $10/month, a reasonable start for cost-sensitive prototypes. Independent developers will find it handy for validating prototypes; for production, keep the official API as a backup line, because what it sells is upstream access rather than its own compute.

Additional notes

Free access is limited to the one-time 5 credits given at sign-up, and there is no daily or monthly recurring free tier, so it is classified as paid. Usage-based billing (/pricing, explicitly no plan tiers, 1 credit = $0.01) and subscription (/coding-plan) are two separate billing systems whose quota is not interchangeable. On-site prices match vendors' public prices; lower prices on some third-party channels are reseller channel prices rather than official cuts. Early promotions (Go $10/month, previously $20; Plus $30/month, previously $50; annual payment equals 10 months' price covering 12 months) may end at any time and are not counted in the list prices.

FAQ

No. Signing up only grants a one-time batch of 5 credits (for example a GPT Image 2 trial); there is no daily or monthly recurring free tier. After that you pay at 1 credit = $0.01, or subscribe to the Coding Plan starting at $10/month.
