Lyrics Maker
A parameterized lyric-writing workbench; AI lyric writing is not connected yet

Tool details
Lyrics Maker positions itself as an 'original lyric-writing workbench'. The parameter matrix and the editor are both fairly complete, but the AI engine that would actually generate lyrics has not been wired up yet: pressing Generate only returns the message 'the AI lyric-writing service is not connected yet'. Judged by what genuinely works today, it is closer to a free local writing desk than to a tool that turns out lyrics in one click.
Core capabilities
- Parameter matrix: 13 genres, 9 moods, 4 section structures, 5 rhyme schemes, 3 length options and 11 languages can be combined freely, so every setting is settled in one pass before writing begins.
- Line locking and single-line re-rhyming: lock the sentences you are happy with and they are kept automatically when you rewrite the whole lyric; you can also rewrite or re-rhyme an individual line and polish line by line.
- Approximate syllable counting: estimates syllable counts from vowel groups, supports Latin letters and CJK characters, and helps align lines with the beat of a melody.
- Local drafts and export: the browser stores up to 100 drafts locally, and you can copy or export them as .txt without registering an account.
- Inspiration scenario library: a separate inspiration page collects 12 creative-scenario prompts, and the three sample drafts on the home page are explicitly labelled as sample.
Where it fits Intermediate writers who want a first draft already broken into sections and rhymed, and then swap words line by line themselves; creators who do not write in English natively; and light-touch creators drafting voiceover scripts or short-drama interludes. At this stage it also makes sense to treat it as an editor for learning the workflow, locking the lines you like and slowly building up a song; anyone who wants a finished song should look for another tool.
Unique strengths Most lyric tools only hand over a result, while this one leaves control with the user: the parameter combinations are finer-grained, line-level locking and single-line re-rhyming are rare designs in this category, and the bilingual English-and-Chinese explanatory copy is written with restraint.
Editorial verdict As a writing desk it is free, fully interactive and worth a try; as an 'AI lyrics generator' it does not currently hold up — the page itself says AI writing is not connected yet. It is worth bookmarking for people who are willing to edit words by hand, and worth coming back to once the AI is connected.

Additional notes
The lyric workbench and editor are free to use, the browser stores up to 100 drafts locally, and copying and .txt export are supported. The AI lyric-writing service is not connected yet: /api/lyrics returns 503 PROVIDER_NOT_CONFIGURED, and the site itself says AI writing is not connected yet. Audio generation for lyrics-to-song is likewise not open (/api/songs returns available:false), and the 20 credits per song is only a placeholder parameter.
