Note: it is unrelated to the Philadelphia children's chalk brand TWEE, the Korean womenswear brand Twee, or any other entity that shares the name.

Use cases ESL/EFL English teachers, private and online tutors, language schools and curriculum developers, and especially teachers who build several lessons a week and teach across multiple levels. Teachers of non-language subjects, or those on a strict zero budget, are a poorer fit.
Unique advantages While Diffit and MagicSchool still rely on generic reading levels, Twee makes CEFR a native setting; reviewers say it has "no directly equivalent competitor" in language teaching, and its annual price is on the low side for the category.
Editorial assessment Twee is one of the most mature and most vertically focused products among AI tools for language teaching, with concentrated recommendations from TEFL-focused media and European education platforms and institutional customers including the University of Sheffield. Caveats: the free option is only a one-time allowance of 5 runs, subscriptions are non-refundable, AI output needs teacher review, it is web-only with no mobile app, and it has no official pages on G2/Capterra/Trustpilot, so independent review samples are thin.

No long-term permanent free tier: the free tier is a one-time allowance of 5 generations (Trial, $0, Pro tools not included). Official first-party annual-billing list prices: Basic $6.50/month, Pro $10.50/month, with annual billing 30% lower than monthly; the official monthly Pro price is not exposed on the static page. Schools per-seat annual billing: 3–10 seats $8.33/seat/month, 11–20 seats $7.50/seat/month, 21–50 seats $6.25/seat/month (all USD, no cross-currency conversion). Many third-party directories report about $11.95/month (close to twice the annual Basic price, or a monthly-billing/tax-inclusive basis), which conflicts with the official site and is not used as a tier price.
